We are currently seeking submissions and pitches from writers who specialize in fashion, cinema, and cultural criticism.

Things to Know

We aim for an academic, cerebral tone.

Our readers are just as likely to pick up Barthes’ “Mythologies” as the newest issue of “Purple Magazine.”

We accept complete works as well as pitches.

We expect complete submissions to be fully-baked with polished grammar and spelling.

We prefer pitches that are accompanied by a list of previous publications, at least one writing sample, or a portfolio link.
